Anthony
Sifuentes
My name is Anthony Sifuentes and I hail from Henderson, Nevada on the outskirts of the Las Vegas Valley. I am a first-year undergraduate at Stanford University drawn to developmental psychology, genetics, and clinical work. I aspire to pursue research if not medicine after graduating.
Before shifting to STEM, I spent three years building up a pre-law background, interning at a law firm before becoming an assistant clerk of the Federal Courthouse of Las Vegas for a total of three years. Now, I am excited to be part of Stanford’s Biology Department’s Building Up Developing Scientists Program, wherein I hope to apply my analytical skills to scientific inquiry.
Outside work, I enjoy playing cards, tending to my garden, and tinkering with retro game hardware. Now I’m eager to contribute my skills and interests to this team and look forward to collaborating with the Carnegie Institution through Stanford. He is working in the lab of Dr. Jeffrey Dukes.
