Rebecca Oppenheimer, curator at the American Museum of Natural History's Department of Astrophysics, will give a talk titled "First and Second Generation High Contrast Imaging Experiments for Comparative Planetary Science" at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017, in the Greenewalt Auditorium as part of DTM's Weekly Seminar Series.

Oppenheimer received her Ph.D. in astronomy from the California Institute of Technology in 1999. She is a comparative exoplanetary scientist who studies planets orbiting stars other than the Sun. 

Coffee, tea, and a continental breakfast will be served before the lecture at 10:30 a.m.
