Astronomy Lecture Series
Every year since the spring of 2002, the Observatories has organized a series of public lectures on current astronomical topics hosted at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens. These lectures are given by astronomers from the Carnegie Observatories as well as other research institutions. The lectures are geared to the general public and are free.

Recordings
Beginning in 2011, the Huntington began recording the audio of the lectures and we were able to pair this audio with the presenters' slides. In 2013, while the Huntington underwent renovations, the lecture series was held at the Pasadena convention center and we again had audio recordings. For the 2014 and 2015 seasons, we held the lectures at A Noise Within, which for the first time allowed us to record the audio and video. From 2016 onward, we were back at the Huntington with a newly renovated auditorium and full audio and video recordings.
