Parker
David Parker is from Olympia, Washington where he did his undergrad at Evergreen State College and also worked in Betty Kutter's T4 Phage Lab. He did his PhD at Cornell University in the Department of Food Science where he focused on engineering bacteriophage for applications in water quality and therapeutics. David's research goals for the future revolve around a strong interest in applying synthetic biology toward improving planetary health. Outside of the lab, David loves cooking, ashtanga yoga, rock climbing and hiking.
