Vincent's expertise lies in environmental and climate microbiology. During his Ph.D. at Aarhus University in Denmark, he made the discovery that cable bacteria have the potential to reduce methane emissions from rice fields. Presently, as a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University, he is focused on the development of a cable bacteria-based amendment for rice agriculture.
