Baldwin
Stella Baldwin is an environmental microbiologist interested in understanding the mechanisms behind marine microbial life. During her undergraduate career at the University of Southern California (USC), Stella spent two summers at the California Institute of Technology: one with Dr. Victoria Orphan's lab examining the intraspecific ecology of anaerobic methanotrophic archaea in cold seeps and one with Dr. Margaret McFall-Ngai's lab studying the nuclear proteomics of the squid-vibrio symbiosis. Stella graduated from USC in December 2024, and she is now back with Dr. McFall-Ngai's group as a temporary lab assistant.
