Planet Formation & Evolution
William Misener is an astrophysicist interested in the formation, composition, and evolution of exoplanets. He uses atmospheric structure, chemistry, and evolution models to study how planets might have formed, what processes they undergo in time, and what surface conditions they may have today. He is particularly interested in the diversity of small exoplanets and their similarities and differences with the planets of the Solar System.
