Flickinger
Haley Flickinger is a member of the Dukes Lab in the Carnegie Department of Global Ecology. She is a visiting student from Purdue University working towards her PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Haley received her B.S. from the University of Kansas in 2018 and her past work has focused on invasive plant species in the tallgrass prairies of Kansas. Haley’s current work looks at the impacts of rising atmospheric CO2 on the interactions between plants and insect herbivores at an ecosystem level. Her research uses a combination of observational field work and historical plant specimens from herbarium collections to answer questions about ecosystem changes through time.
