I am a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut. My currently research is on deciphering the genetic regulatory mechanisms that modulate cannabis glandular trichome ontogeny and biosynthesis of specialized metabolite in the glandular trichomes. My previous research was on calcium mediated plant innate immune signaling. At Carnegie, I will continue working on cannabis and to work on BR induced and calcium mediated signal transduction.
