Miriam is a sophomore Geological Sciences major at the University of Rochester. She is working with Andrew Steele on The Fate of Carbon During Impact, using Raman spectroscopy and electron microscopy to examine the transformation and preservation of carbonaceous materials in impact-processed terrestrial rocks.
