Julie is a Research Technician working in the Dukes lab. They recently earned their Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology at UC Berkeley. During her undergraduate journey, she found the most rewarding moments were those spent outdoors, working with her hands. They now aim to expand their professional experience in environmental sciences through various fieldwork opportunities based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Outside of learning natural history, she also enjoys singing along to a guitar, eating new foods, and getting the occasional adrenaline rush.
