Späte

Jara Späte is pursuing her master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zurich and visits Carnegie for her master thesis. In her thesis, she models the interplay between renewable energies and irrigation demands and optimizes cost, carbon emissions and water scarcity. Prior to her current endeavours, Jara earned her Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich. She is a Visiting Student in Lorenzo Rosa's lab at Carnegie Science.
