Dyanne Furtado is responsible for monitoring and tracking expenditures associated with new Federal grants, as well as providing financial reports to the scientific staff. Prior to joining Carnegie, Furtado worked at the German defense manufacturing company, Heckler & Koch, as a staff accountant for more than 13 years. She obtained a B.S. from Gallaudet University in accounting in 1986, and has lived in Virginia since 1989.
