Grace Olivier's work focuses on understanding metal poor galaxies in the nearby universe in order to try and understand galaxy evolution at high redshift. This work centers on rest-frame UV and optical spectroscopy to understand the connection between the massive stars within galaxies and their impact on the gas surrounding them.
