Chenchen is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Global Ecology at the Carnegie Institution for Science. Her research aims to explore sustainable approaches to agriculture from multiple perspectives, including climate change, crop diversity, farm size, and population aging. Chenchen obtained her Ph.D. in Land Resource Management from Zhejiang University. Her Ph.D. dissertation focused on the impact of farm size, population aging, and climate change on agricultural sustainability, particularly with regard to food production and environmental protection. Her postdoctoral research focuses on the climate adaptation of agriculture in terms of water-nitrogen intercropping and crop switching. She aims to offer innovative adaptation solutions and powerful anti-climate change tactics, which are vital for countries facing climate threats. In her spare time, she enjoys a wide range of exercises, including body combat, hiking, running, swimming, and badminton.
