2013 marks the 100th year of the CIW Department of Embryology and to commemorate this occasion we have planned several events, including a Centennial Symposium on September 26th and our annual Mini-Symposium on September 27th of this year. The Centennial Symposium is devoted to honoring the exceptionally productive history of the department, highlighting aspects of the department that have led to its success. Speakers on this day will feature both present and former department members. Our annual post-doc organized Mini-Symposium the next day will focus on the establishment of sex and how sex influences physiology and behavior. Attendance at these events is by invitation only.
