Zheng

Huafei Zheng is a postdoctoral researcher at Carnegie Science whose research focuses on the discovery and characterization of new inorganic and functional materials. He synthesizes materials using conventional, non-equilibrium, and high-pressure methods and investigates their crystal structures and physical properties to understand relationships among composition, structure, and functionality. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park, where his research focused on the synthesis, intercalation chemistry, structural characterization, and property tuning of transition-metal chalcogenides.
