I am a volcano geophysicist interested in understanding how magma is stored and transported through the Earth's crust and how these processes lead to volcanic unrest and eruptions. My research combines volcano seismology and geodesy to image the geometry and dynamics of magmatic systems from the upper mantle through the crust.
At Carnegie Science, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow mentored by Dr. Diana Roman and Dr. Hélène Le Mével. I investigate different episodes of volcanic unrest across subduction zone settings, integrating volcanic earthquakes, seismic tremors, and transient ground deformation. My project aims to identify and understand the physical processes at play during the destabilization of magmatic system that ultimately lead to eruptions. In perspective, integrating geochemical and petrological observations will provide a complementary view on magma composition and storage conditions, building a more complete picture of the evolving magmatic system.
