Yizhong is from SiChuan, China. He got his Masters in Biochemical Engineering from University of Chinese Academic of Sciences in 2018 , and a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the University Grenoble Alpes in 2022. He is interested in understanding how plants and algae dynamically acclimate to light, CO2, nutrient limitation and environmental change.
