Kevin Johnson is the Executive Director of the Geochemical Society, which has its headquarters at Carnegie.
He is responsible for managing the society's programs, including the Goldschmidt Conference and various publications. Previously, Johnson was the Director of Education and Research for the Association of Government Accountants and a program manager with the National Association of State Treasurers. He also worked as a budget analyst with the U.S. Department of Justice in the Presidential Management Fellows program.
Johnson earned his Bachelor’s in political science and economics from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He has held the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives since 2018.
