Milky Way & Stellar Evolution Transients & Compact Objects Astrophysical Theory

Sunny Wong is a theoretical astrophysicist interested in binary evolution and supernovae. He combines stellar evolution and hydrodynamical simulations to understand the fate of white dwarf binaries and the underlying mechanisms for type Ia supernovae.
