An entry from the Cambridge Structural Database, the worlds repository for small molecule crystal structures. The entry contains experimental data from a crystal diffraction study. The deposited dataset for this entry is freely available from the CCDC and typically includes 3D coordinates, cell parameters, space group, experimental conditions and quality measures.

Abstract
2-Naphthol, formaldehyde and chiral amines have been applied in three component Betti-type condensation to provide chiral 1,3-naphthoxazines in excellent yields. The latter have been easily transformed to chiral N-methyl aminobenzylnaphthols through reaction with lithium aluminum hydride. The chiral aminobenzylnaphthols are active catalyst (ligands) for enantioselective diethylzinc addition to aldehydes providing secondary alcohols in good yields only up to a moderate degree of enantioselectivity.

Abstract
The functionalization of diketopiperazine Cyclo(Gly-Pro) by using suitable deprotonation reagent and electrophile offers the opportunity for synthesis of structurally diverse series of compounds (libraries) possessing bioactivity. This synthetic approach has been proved as feasible in respect to use different electrophiles and in particularly concerning the observed very high stereoselecitvity.

Abstract
Ribosome stalling leads to recruitment of the ribosome quality control complex (RQC), which targets the partially synthesized polypeptide for proteasomal degradation through the action of the ubiquitin ligase Ltn1p. A second core RQC component, Rqc2p, modifies the nascent polypeptide by adding a carboxyl-terminal alanine and threonine (CAT) tail through a noncanonical elongation reaction. Here we examined the role of CAT-tailing in nascent-chain degradation in budding yeast. We found that Ltn1p efficiently accessed only nascent-chain lysines immediately proximal to the ribosome exit tunnel. For substrates without Ltn1p-accessible lysines, CAT-tailing enabled degradation by exposing lysines sequestered in the ribosome exit tunnel. Thus, CAT-tails do not serve as a degron, but rather provide a fail-safe mechanism that expands the range of RQC-degradable substrates.

Abstract
Thermoelectric generator composed of crystalline radical ion salts: The unipolar charge transport along the molecular stacks facilitates complementary p-and n-type organic thermoelectric materials of high electrical conductivity and of 1D electronic structure. The specific power output of 5 mW cm(-2) and the zT > 0.15 below 40 K demonstrate a new field of low-temperature thermoelectric applications unlocked by organic metals.

Abstract
The addition of N-and S-functionalized organolithium compounds to (-)-menthone was studied and a series of new chiral substituted neomenthol derivatives has been isolated. The new chiral compounds have been applied as precatalysts for addition of diethylzinc to aldehydes and enantioselectivity of up to 80% ee was achieved.

Abstract
Fabric formwork is an emerging method for casting concrete in flexible membranes, which offers unrivalled opportunities to create architectural structures, as well as to shape structural elements appropriately and use concrete more efficiently. Research studies of fabric-formed beams carried out at the University of Bath have indicated that a minimum of 40% material savings are achievable with optimised design of fabric-formed concrete. Practical design tools and construction guidance have also been developed as part of the research studies to encourage the industrial application of fabric formwork. Reinforcing fabric-formed elements with FRP composite materials has been investigated for the significant advantages it provides in terms of installation and manufacturing techniques suitable for concrete elements with varying geometry. This paper presents experimentally tested construction approaches, proposed design methodology and experimental results, which validate the design method and demonstrate the possibility to build FRP-reinforced fabric-formed beams exhibiting ductile behaviour.
