Overview
In this talk, I will discuss my work to observe, theoretically model, and visualize molecular clouds, the birthplaces of stars. Molecular clouds are notoriously complex environments, in terms of the physics that shape them and their geometric structure, which is tied to the properties of stars that form within them. My recent work has provided new insight into the 3D structure of so-called stellar nurseries, whose architecture and evolution have implications for many subfields of astronomy.
