Britt
Abrahamson
Britt is a postdoctoral fellow interested in how single-cell activity governs global-scale biogeochemical cycling across spatiotemporal scales, especially in ecosystems experiencing fluctuations in oxygen. The overlapping functional potentials of microorganisms make it difficult to predict their activity from genomic data alone. His work investigates the mechanisms underpinning metabolic versatility and how it shapes the biogeochemistry of Oxygen Minimum Zones (OMZs).
