Connie Gov works in the Carnegie Science Squid Lab located on the Caltech campus in Pasadena. They study the symbiosis of Hawaiian bobtail squid and Vibrio fischeri (bacteria) extensively, looking to characterize the pathways in which the bacteria colonize within the host cells.
