From coast to coast, Carnegie campuses came together in December to reflect on milestones, celebrate achievements, and spread good cheer. In Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Palo Alto, and Pasadena our communities concluded 2023 with fun, games, and plenty of delicious snacks. Activities included a masquerade party, crafts, gift swaps, a dessert competition, cookie decorating, and special attention to those who reached significant workplace anniversaries ranging from 10 to 35 years.
"I am inspired by the diligence and enthusiasm demonstrated at every level of our organization, including our early career and senior scientific staff, as well as our administrative, technical, and support staff," Carnegie President Eric D. Isaacs said in a year-end message. "Your contributions to Carnegie Science enable us to pursue groundbreaking research and expand our knowledge of life and the interdependent ecosystems, Earth and the planets, and our expansive cosmos."
